Klaus-Martin Gareis is a Swiss artist who explores analogue photography. His work is a continuous experiment in which each subject is free to develop its own aesthetic; its own visual language. To enhance the freedom of his subjects, Klaus-Martin uses a development process that intentionally produces unpredictable results. Therefore, even the most overlooked subjects become the main character of the artist’s visual narrative.
Klaus-Martin’s freedom of expression equally applies to weeds, landscapes, portraits, nudes, and travel photos. His process combines the art of improvisation and performance with the static aesthetic of photography and the results are fluid and fresh pictures.
The photos of Klaus-Martin Gareis are available in limited editions of 7 copies and 2 AP (Artist’s proof). They are numbered and signed by the artist.
